Experience & Activities

I am a data scientist with rich experiences spanning experimental design, plant breeding and genomic analysis, business analytics, product development, and machine learning. I value the time I spend collaborating with other scientists as well as other departments towards solving challenges and making tangible improvements. I have had the privilege of collaborating with scientists and growers across the globe. I also treasure the ability to mentor others, and I am open to connecting to aspiring professionals.

I have worked in the food production and pharmaceutical industries and have published research on my work in cacao breeding and yield improvement. At Mars Inc, I was awarded the Global Research Award for my work in applied computational genetics . My strengths include machine learning/data science, applied statistics, quantitative genetics, problem-solving, experimental design, business intelligence, data visualization, as well as leadership and scientific writing.
